Living Waters Christian Community  Church

                       Welcome to Living Waters Christian Community Church

Living Waters is a new church planted in Ramsgate, Kent. It was planted 1st July 2007 in a village called Manston. The focus of the church is to reach out to the villages around Thanet with the powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ. Five years ago the Lord brought Rob Jones, our pastor, and his family to this area with a threefold vision. That vision was based on Isaiah 61 verses 1 - 7 and was focused around Oaks of Righteousness a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.

The vision was :-
1) To establish the full ministry of Jesus within the local church, of reaching out to the lost not only with words and good deeds, but with a healing and deliverance ministry, to bind up the broken hearted and set the captives free.

2) The vision was also focused on real personal discipleship focused at growing individual Christians in knowledge, spirituality and ministry. This was centered on the belief that all Christians are called by God and equipped to discharge their ministry within the context of the body of Christ.

3) The vision also included a planting out of churches that would be Word founded and Spirit led reaching out to local communities as a local church. Every time the central church grew to a certain size it would plant out a Oak of righteousness into an area of Thanet where there is no vibrant Christian witness.

After five years the Lord has called Rob and Rebecca out of the fellowship they were pastoring to start up a new fellowship in the villages where there is little Christian witness. The outcome of this is Living Waters Christian Community Church. A faith venture led by God to establish a base in the villages from which to reach out from. The promise that the Lord gave us at the beginning of this fellowship was:- “ They shall inherit that Land forever, the branch of My planting,
           The work of My hands, That I may be glorified.
           A little one shall become a thousand,
           And a small one a strong nation.
           I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.”
