5 Week Evangelistic Course “ The Discovery Course.”    At the heart of the salvation that is found in the Good News there is an invitation to respond to the Truth that is found in the person of Jesus Christ. As Christians if we are to respond to the

challenge of being Christ’s witnesses we need to make sure that the Gospel that we present to people, is truly the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the early church there were many false gospels that infiltrated the church resulting in many being led astray into a false hope. Today is no different. There are many courses out there in the Christian world that do not represent the true heart of the Gospel message of Salvation. They fail to deal with issues like sin, repentance, redemption and the work and life of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ adequately. As a result people are converted with a fragile foundation and at worst a manmade hope that brings no assurance of the life found in Jesus.

This course is set up to be both a presentation of the gospel and an opportunity for discussion surrounding the core questions of life. It is founded on the Word of God and engages with the real issues that need to be faced if someone is truly going to come to repentance, faith and new life in Christ.

You can have a meal or refreshments before the sessions, but whatever you do it is important that you create a warm, open and relaxed atmosphere. Everything from the preparation to the actual sessions needs to be well covered with prayer.

I have seen a high number of the people who have been on this course come to personal faith in Jesus, as the sessions have come to completion. May God bless this course to you as you seek to witness to Jesus and see the Lost come to salvation.

30 Week Discipleship Course - Walking on Solid Ground. This course was written in 2002 as a response to the great need to disciple Christians in the fundamentals of the Christian faith. The course is set up in module form so that it can be used in a flexible

format taking into account the existing knowledge of the individual. It is important that space is given  both for questions and discussion as unasked questions often become the basis for doubts. We have found that if you take a group of people through the discipleship course this often becomes a good base to develop the group into a new house of cell meeting.
